An alkyd resin binder with zinc phosphate anti-corrosive pigment, together with inert inorganic pigments and thinned with a blend of xylene and aromatic hydrocarbon solvents.

Steel:
Grit blast to BS4232, 2nd Quality (SA 2.5 Swedish Standard) with a blast profile of 50-75 microns to remove all scale, rust, old paint and contaminants.
Minimum – chip scrape and mechanically wire brush to Swedish Standard ST2 for mechanically cleaned steel.
