Tor Adheron Metal Primer, a general purpose quick-drying anti-corrosive primer/finish for steel that can be applied by brush, roller or spray. Designed to give a tough but flexible primer/finish, the primer can be overcoated with conventional alkyd and chlorinated rubber finishes after just 4 hours. Additional coats of Tor Adheron Metal Primer may be applied as a finish.

  • Designed to give a tough but flexible primer/finish
  • Not suitable for overcoating with 2 pack finishes
  • Good coverage; 1 coat (as a primer) - 2-3 coats as a finish
  • Touch dry in 1 hour - hard dry in 4 hours, ready to be recoated. Do not apply if relative humidity is likely to exceed 88%.

Preferably grit blast to Sa2.5 Swedish Standard to remove all contaminants and provide a profile of 50-75 microns.

Storage and Handling


Store the closed containers in a store room which is either in a safe place or is a fire resisting structure. The storage and conditions must meet the statutory requirements of The Highly Flammable Liquids and Petroleum Gases Regulations 1972.

Limitations


Do not apply if relative humidity is likely to exceed 88%. Not suitable for overcoating with 2 pack finishes.

  1. Avoid skin and eye contact i.e. wear gloves, goggles, etc
  2. Ensure good ventilation, mechanical if necessary
  3. Store and use away from heat and flame
  4. Do not eat or smoke in the vicinity of work
  5. Wash hands before eating
  6. Refer to supply container for additional warning labels
