ColourPicker Explained

In general we sort colours for products into 2 main groups - ‘Ready Mixed’ and ‘Tinted’.
Tinted colours will always be more expensive than Ready Mixed colours as they need to be produced at the time of order using a tinting machine dispensing colourant into a base*.
During busy periods, this means that tinted colours could take longer, for example – a ready mixed colour ordered on a 3-5 day delivery might arrive within 3 days, however a tinted colour might take the full 5 days to arrive.

To find Ready Mixed colours, search "ready mixed" or select the Ready Mixed 'colour chart'. To see Tinted colours select a colour chart such as RAL, BS, NCS, etc. or search for a colour/hue to see available or related options.

To ensure fair pricing, we split colours into ‘Price Bands’ to group together similar priced colours. If you wish to search for the cheapest tinted colours, always select Price Band 1.

*Colours are sold in the nearest tin size but actual paint volume per tin may vary up to 10% depending on colour

These values are a guide only and are not to be used as specifications.
Film thickness will vary depending on actual use and specification.
Great care should be taken to achieve the dft stated in the agreed specification and to avoid areas of excessively low or high thickness.

Surface Preparation

Ensure surfaces to be coated are dry and must be cleaned using the appropriate HMG product to remove all traces of contaminants.
Read and follow the safety data sheet, product data sheet and label instructions.
Stir all paints thoroughly before use.
Always use the same batch number on the same job.
Check colour & sheen.
Filter the product immediately before use.
Reduce emissions and maintain quality by replacing tin lid after use.
