Axalta ViterWash T Etch Solution is a single pack phosphoric acid etch solution, designed for the surface treatment of fresh galvanising prior to painting.
Used to etch bright, unweathered galvanised surfaces, as an adhesion promoter for subsequently applied paint coatings, the product changes the surface colour from blue to grey/black if etching has been successful.

Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team: This product should be applied neat, make sure the solution is homogenous prior to application. Brush or sponge application is recommended and any excess product should be removed by washing with solvent prior to applying any paint system.
