Teamac Micaceous Iron Oxide (MIO) is a high build coating for the protection of structural steelwork against corrosion. It can be used as either an intermediate, or finish coat. For use on cranes, transmission towers, bridges, lamp posts, railings etc. Its thick anti-corrosive film is extremely effective in prolonging the life of these types of structures.
Teamac Micaceous Iron Oxide provides protection to steelwork exposed to weathering. Can withstand temperatures up to 99°C and could therefore can be used in a system for medium temperature duties. Ideally it should be used in a full painting sequence with anti-corrosive primers.
