PPG Sigma Vikote 56 is a modified acrylic finish coat for above-water areas. Featuring good gloss and colour retention, resistance to water and splash of mild chemicals. This fast-drying coat can be applied at temperatures down to –10°C (14°F).

Recommended Substrate Conditions and Temperatures
Substrate Conditions
Previous coat (chlorinated rubber, vinyl or acrylic coatings) must be dry and free from any contamination. Substrate temperature during application should be at least 3°C (5°F) above dew point

Air Spray
Recommended thinner: PPG Thinner 21-06
Volume of thinner: 5 - 10%, depending on required thickness and application conditions
Nozzle orifice: 1.8 - 2.0 mm (approx. 0.070 – 0.079 in)
Nozzle pressure: 0.2 - 0.3 MPa (approx. 2 - 3 bar; 29 - 44 p.s.i.)
Airless Spray
Recommended thinner: PPG Thinner 21-06
Volume of thinner: 0 - 5%, depending on required thickness and application conditions.
Nozzle orifice: Approx. 0.28 - 0.33 mm (0.011 – 0.013 in)
Nozzle pressure: 12.0 - 15.0 MPa (approx. 120 - 150 bar; 1741 - 2176 p.s.i.)
Brush/Roller
