The practical spreading rate may be lower as this depends on factors such as the porosity and roughness of the surface to be painted and material losses during application.

If it is bare metal then we would recommend Teamac Rapidry HB Zinc Phosphate Primer followed by Teamac Metalcote Plant Enamel. | |

Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team: Teamac Metalcote Undercoat could be used prior to application of Teamac Metalcote Plant Enamel and would improve the finish/durability of the finished system but should you choose to, Teamac Metalcote Plant Enamel could be applied directly to your previously painted, prepared surfaces. | |
