Hi used soft white and very good paint however a bit brighter than other white on new stair spindles so can I overcoat bedec with ordinary gloss paint to achieve same colour. Thanks

You would need to ask this question to the company that manufacturers the product you are going to over coat with. They would need to check if the product is able to go over a water based flexible product.

Question:

Would this be a suitable paint for a roller garage door, the door is made of aluminium but has a white plastic coating, it would need to be flexible & durable.

Answer:

Bedec Multi Surface Paint can be applied to plastic surfaces, clean down with a liquid detergent solution, rinse with clean water and allow to dry. Then rub down with abrasive paper or equivalent, remove any dust and debris and apply 2 coats of Bedec Multi Surface Paint directly to the prepared surface.

questions Trevor Stamford on 2018-03-07 12:23:45
Question:

What surface preparation is required prior to painting MSP onto veneer fire surround? Regards

Answer:

In general we would recommend to thoroughly clean and then lightly abrading the surface to give a good key. This helps remove any build up of grease or dirt and it also increases the surface area to increase durability. If the surface is a porous substrate then do the same but thin the first coat down with 30% clean fresh water, allow this to dry, then two full un-thinned top coats. Ensure that is is clean and free from dust etc, before painting.

No but Rust-Oleum Tarmacoat would be suitable for this application.
