questions Mark Thompson on 26/03/2018
Question:

Would this be a suitable paint for a roller garage door, the door is made of aluminium but has a white plastic coating, it would need to be flexible & durable.

Answer:

Bedec Multi Surface Paint can be applied to plastic surfaces, clean down with a liquid detergent solution, rinse with clean water and allow to dry. Then rub down with abrasive paper or equivalent, remove any dust and debris and apply 2 coats of Bedec Multi Surface Paint directly to the prepared surface.

questions Trevor Stamford on 07/03/2018
Question:

What surface preparation is required prior to painting MSP onto veneer fire surround? Regards

Answer:

In general we would recommend to thoroughly clean and then lightly abrading the surface to give a good key. This helps remove any build up of grease or dirt and it also increases the surface area to increase durability. If the surface is a porous substrate then do the same but thin the first coat down with 30% clean fresh water, allow this to dry, then two full un-thinned top coats. Ensure that is is clean and free from dust etc, before painting.
