I have an old mahogany dining table that I want to up-cycle would this be OK to paint the table top with?
Rust-Oleum Universal Metallic Paint (Brush) may not be the best product for this application as the table top may be subject to a lot of wear and tear. We would instead suggest using Rust-Oleum Metallic Finish Furniture Paint. This will give a tougher finish and is designed for use on furniture. Remove any wax or furniture polish completely and prime the mahogany with Zinsser B-I-N, then apply Rust-Oleum Metallic Finish Furniture Paint. If the table will get a lot of use a clear varnish such as Blackfriar Quick Drying Varnish can be applied over the paint.

Hi, I have some aluminium and mild steel bolted together. Bolts are all rusted but sound. I'd like to seal the whole thing with one paint. I'v tried other paints but they just peel off the aluminium and expose the steel. What would you recommend?
