Paint For Pros MagnetPlaster is a dark grey ready mixed premium plaster with a smooth finish that turns indoor surfaces magnetic. Enriched with a special iron powder, surfaces treated with MagnetPlaster attract magnets to create a notice board for storing notes and reminders, plans and photos, without drilling, nailing or screwing into the surface. An excellent addition to an office, staff room or kitchen.

A single layer of MagnetPlaster has more magnetic strength than 3 layers of MagnetPaint and can be painted over with conventional paints in any colour, including blackboard and whiteboard paints for a writeable surface, and wallpapered too. The plaster is ideal for interior use on any load-bearing surface on which a ferrous magnetic surface is desired, and can be fully loaded with magnets 24 hours after application.

Safe and easy to apply, MagnetPlaster contains no plasticisers or volatile solvents, consisting of a synthetic resin dispersion with fine bulking agents and iron powder.

Application

• Use a block brush or coat roller for applying the primer.
• To apply MagnetPlaster, use a trowel, top plate, plaster sponge and sanding board with sponge sole.
• Apply in a wet layer thickness of 1 mm up to a maximum of 1.8mm to prevent a chance of cracks
• Typical coverage of 1m² per litre, depending on many factors. such as porosity and roughness of the substrate and material loss during application.
• A thicker layer results in a stronger (Ferro)magnetic effect in combination with Neodymium magnets.
• The theoretical magnetic force of a Ø29 mm Neodymium magnet on a fully applied system according to consumption is approx. 5000 N/m².
