Application Notes

Preparation:

• For best results, ensure surface is clean, dry and free from loose paint, mould & mildew, wax or oil
• If wax has been used clean the surface thoroughly with white spirit
• We recommend that bare wood should be sanded before painting
• Hard glossy surfaces should be lightly abraded before painting
• Cover surrounding areas to protect from spray mist

Application:

• Shake can vigorously for 1 minute after mixing ball begins to rattle, continue to shake regularly during use
• Hold can 30cm from surface and spray in a steady back and forth motion, slightly overlapping with each stroke
• For best results whilst spraying keep the can the same distance from the surface and keep the can in motion
• Apply two light even coats

Limitations

• Cap and/or label indicate approximate colour and finish
• Not for use directly onto metal
• Not a stain-blocking product
• Prime any surfaces where stain bleeds may be an issue, including knots
• If unsure, test on an inconspicuous area before painting. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of colour, due to limitations of the print process, colour/finish shown is for guidance only
• Do not use on galvanised steel or surfaces that regularly exceed temperatures over 90°C
• Apply only when temperature is between 10-32°C and relative humidity below 85%
• Special precautions should be taken during the surface preparation of pre 1960`s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead
• When dry-sanding avoid dust inhalation by wearing a suitable protective face mask
