Preparation For best results, apply over a pre-painted, white or light coloured surface. If applying to a new surface use a suitable white, water-based primer first, eg. Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 (follow manufacturer’s directions). Do not apply directly onto Vinyl Matt or other ‘weakly bound’ paint films. The product may be applied over Vinyl Silk or water based Acrylic Eggshell.
Application Pour approximately half of Part B into Part A and stir until mixed in then add the remainder of Part B and stir thoroughly for about 2 minutes (until a uniform colour is achieved). We recommend using the enclosed micro-fibre roller which is designed to give a smooth, uniform finish, alternatively use a short-pile mohair roller. Use a paint brush if necessary for edging. When applying this over darker coloured surfaces prepare first with a suitable white primer (see Preparation above). Dries to the touch in 4 hours. Note that once activated the workable pot life of this product is 4 hours. There is enough product in this pack to cover 30m². Only one coat of Zinsser Write-On Paint should be applied.
Use Allow the painted surface to cure for 5 days at 20°C before applying any markings (allow more time in cooler temperatures). If in doubt leave the coating longer to cure prior to writing on the surface. Once fully cured dry wipe markers may be applied to surface and then wiped off with an eraser or lint free cloth.
Tips
Tape desired area with low tack masking tape.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or cloths on the cured product.
If ghosting of the dry wipe marker occurs, clean the surface with a white board cleaning solution and leave the surface for 24 hours prior to use.
All drying times are for when applied at 20°C and max 85% humidity, lower temperatures and a higher humidity will prolong the drying times.
Do not continue to use the mixed product for longer than 4 hours after mixing.
After application the roller should be discarded.
Application brushes can be cleaned with white spirit.
*Whilst most dry wipe markers are suitable it is recommended to check ease of removal of your chosen dry wipe marker pens on a small test area first.

Can Zinsser write on paint be applied to breeze blocks?
Answer:
Assuming the breeze blocks are paint grade and have a smooth finish with no blow holes in then the Zinsser Write-On Paint should be OK. Prime with 2 of coats of Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3.
If the surface is not smooth, another option may be to apply a plaster skim to the blocks then seal with Zinsser Gardz followed by a coat of Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 and then Zinsser Write-On Paint.
