Jotun Balloxy HB Light WG is a 'Wintergrade' version of Jotamastic 90 to aid application in lower temperatures and to provide faster drying and curing times. Jotun Balloxy HB Light WG is a surface tolerant, high solids, high build epoxy mastic coating for water ballast tanks. It is specially designed for areas where optimum surface preparation is not possible or desired and provides long lasting protection in environments with high corrosivity. Jotun Balloxy HB Light WG  can be used as primer, mid coat or finish coat in atmospheric and immersed environments. Suitable for properly prepared carbon steel, galvanised steel, stainless steel, aluminium and a range of aged coating surfaces. It can be applied at sub zero surface temperatures.

Compatible with ballast water treatment systems (BWTS)
When the approved BWTS systems are operated correctly and the active species’ concentration is not above 10 ppm, we see no detrimental effect on correctly applied and cured Jotun Balloxy HB Light WG.

Visual DFT control
In order to obtain correct dry film thickness (DFT), Jotun Balloxy HB Light has built-in a visual DFT – you will obtain proper hiding of the substrate when the minimum wet film thickness is applied.

Two components with different colours make it easy to see when you have obtained proper mixing.
