Directions for Use
To ensure homogeneity, coating materials should be thoroughly stirred prior to use.
Surface Preparation
Substrate must be clean, sound and dry (max. 6% substrate humidity) prior to application. Remove any moss, algae, etc. with a suitable detergent.

Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team: We would instead recommend Rust-Oleum Mathys Durbocem for this application as it is a problem solving coating for damp walls. The paint is specially formulated to adhere and build a strong bond with the damp surface it is applied to, because it contains cement the moisture on the substrate actually helps the paint cure and become stronger coating. It also allows the surface to breathe so water pressure does not build up behind the coating which in turn prevents any flaking paint or diversion of damp to other areas. | |

To test, paint about 1m² of Rust-Oleum Mathys Murfill Renovation Paint out onto the surface in an inconspicuous area, allow to fully dry for 3-5 days and then check for any signs of potential issues and test adhesion. | |
