Rust-Oleum 5410 Asphalt Repair is a durable bitumen-based patch repair material for use on exterior pot-holed asphalt and concrete. Rust-Oleum 5410 Asphalt Repair is based on polished aggregate together with liquid binder based on bitumen plus resins and adhesives.
5410 Asphalt Repair compacts to a dense hard surface that will resist heavy road traffic, repairs can be driven over immediately and it is very simple to use with no hacking necessary. Suitable for holes between 25 and 100mm deep, a simple to use primer is included in the packaging.
This product is ideal for pot-holes in roadways, vehicle parks, loading docks, paths, airfields etc, on bituminous and concrete surfaces.

Theoretical Consumption
At a film thickness of 24 mm 25 kg will cover approximately 0.5m². The product can be applied up to 100mm film thickness.
Practical Consumption
Practical coverage depends on many factors such as porosity and roughness of the substrate and material losses during application.
Application Conditions
Temperature of air, substrate and coating material between 5 and 25°C. At lower temperatures the product will be tougher and is therefore more difficult to apply. Do not dilute the product.

Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team: Surfaces do not need to be completely dry when applying Rust-Oleum 5410 Asphalt Repair as it can be used on slightly damp surfaces due to the primer it is supplied with being tolerable to moisture but it won't tolerate 'wet' surfaces and application certainly isn't recommended during rain. | |
