Description

Rust-Oleum 5150 Speed Patch

Fast setting, high strength concrete repair mortar provides a durable fast setting repair to frost spalled, eroded and cracked concrete, steps, troughs, ramps, coving etc.
  • Cures as hard as granite
  • Can be overcoated quickly
  • Ideal for use indoors or out
  • Easy all-in-1 packaging
  • Can be drilled after curing

Shake the primer bottle(s) before use. The surface should be primed by brush. The liquid in the larger bottles (clear and pigmented) should be mixed with the dry filler to achieve a fairly dry trowelable mixture. It's considerably stiffer and drier than conventional sand and cement and requires compression with a trowel to work it into the repair. That makes the surface wetter which makes finishing easier.

Technical Data

  • Density: 2,36
  • Compressive Strength: 42 MN/m²

Drying Time At 20°C/RH 50%

  • Dry to recoat: 1 hour
  • Fully cured: 1 hour
  • Pot Life: 10 minutes

Theoretical Consumption

0,5 m² per 10 kg at a depth of 10 mm.

Practical Consumption

Practical coverage depends on many factors such as porosity and roughness of the substrate and material losses during application.

Question:

Hi, I,m looking to repair a concrete ramp which has the top 10-20mm crumbling in places, I need to skim to a depth of say 20mm. I will also need to re-enforce the area below 3 security bollards and drill new holes to refix the bollards. The ramp is used by a pallet truck (which is what caused the problem!) Please advise? Thankyou

Answer:

Rust-Oleum 5150 Speed Patch would be suitable for all the applications you have explained.

Question: I need product to repair areas of badly crumbled, holed concrete on a yard. total area approx 6sm. is this product seitable
Answer:

Yes this would be ideal. Prime the surface by brush (included in pack). Apply the mixed Speed Patch using compression with a trowel to work it into the repair area. Further compression causes the surface to become wetter which makes finishing easier.

The mixed components will remain usable for 10-15 minutes according to temperature and volume of material.
