Eagle Tixal is a polymeric thickener, which has been especially developed as a liquid additive for Eagle Ultraflex polyurethane liquid membrane. It enables the use of Ultraflex on vertical or sloped surfaces, giving thixotropic properties. Each 1L Pack will treat 3 x 15KG packs of Ultraflex.

Eagle Tixal prevents slump of the membrane due to its drying time.

Application

• Add Tixal in the proportion required (maximum 500ml per 15 kg of Ultraflex) in the drum of the membrane
• Mix continuously until a homogeneous product is achieved apply the mixture by short hair solvent resistant roller
• If the environmental temperature is lower than 5ºC, heat before mixing with Ultraflex

Health & Safety

These safety recommendations for handling, are necessary for the implementation process as well as in the pre-and post, on exposure to the loading machinery.

• Respiratory Protection: When handling or spraying use an air purifying respirator
• Skin protection: Use rubber gloves, remove immediately after contamination. Wear clean body covering. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after work and before eating, drinking or smoking
• Eye / Face: Wear safety goggles to prevent splashing and exposure to particles in air
• Waste generation should be avoided or minimized
• Incinerate under controlled conditions in accordance with local laws and national regulations
