Watco Roofite Pour & Restore is a thick pourable product which can be squeegee applied, enabling large areas of flat roof to be coated quickly and easily. Leaves a thick waterproof, flexible coating. Ideal for performing repairs to concrete, felt and asphalt.

Watco Roofite can avoid the need for costly re-roofing. A unique blend of bitumen, rubber and tough fibre reinforcement that instantly weatherproofs and refurbishes roofs even in pouring rain.

Watco Roofite is the standard grade version of this product.

Watco Fibreglass Reinforcing Tape strengthens and waterproofs joints and cracks. Used when additional reinforcement is required.

Features & Benefits

Surface Preparation

• Surfaces should preferably be as dry as possible - Emergency patch repairs can however be successfully completed to surfaces with running water
• Remove any loose material and dirt
• Very porous, dry surfaces should be primed with Watco Roofite/Roofite Solar Reflective diluted with 25% white spirit
• A wire brush should be used to remove all traces of moss etc.
• A fungicide may be required for heavily contaminated surfaces

Application

• Pour with a coverage rate of 1.25m² at 3mm thick per 5kg and spread using a squeegee

Limitations

• Roofite/Roofite Solar Reflective are not suitable for coating bare wooden substrates in order to form a waterproofing seal
• Entrapped moisture on porous surfaces may cause blistering in warm weather or spalling at low temperatures
• Only limited emergency patch repairs should therefore be made to porous surfaces while wet
• Not suitable for use on EPDM rubber roofs
• Check compatibility with other surfaces if in doubt
• In common with all bitumen based products, black Roofite will gradually weather to grey colour
