Tor H.B. Gelled Bitumen is a high build gelled bitumen protective for use on roofing, farm buildings, guttering and downcomers, pipes, tanks, etc, as well as suitably prepared steel and galvanised.
Touch dry after 6 hours, Tor H.B. Gelled Bitumen can be overcoated after 16 hours and is applied by brush, roller or airless sprayer. Refer below for application and preparation details.
A solution of Petroleum Bitumen in White Spirit containing inorganic pigments and suitably structured for application.

Steel:
Minimum preparation is mechanical wire brushing to Swedish Standard ST2.
Galvanised:
Apply Tor “T” Wash overall, rinse with clean water and allow to dry.
Roofing, Felt, etc:
Ensure surface is dry and free from loose dust and dirt.
