These packs have been created to help users ensure they are purchasing sufficient product for their project. Each pack contains the correct amount of basecoat (Desmopol), reinforcement matting (Tecnoband) and topcoat (Tecnotop 2C) to ensure enough of each has been purchased to cover the specified area and obtain the guarantee.
Each component within the packs can still be purchased individually if required here: Eagle Desmopol Liquid Polyurethane Membrane, Eagle Tecnoband 225g Matting and Eagle Tecnotop 2C*.

Should an anti-slip finish be required, Eagle Anti-Slip Slate Grit should be broadcast over the 1st wet coat of Eagle Tecnotop 2C and allowed to dry before applying a further coat of Eagle Tecnotop 2C to seal in the Grit. There is sufficient Tecnotop 2C to apply 2 coats in both the 6m² and 12.5m² packs providing it is part mixed. An additional Eagle Tecnotop 2C would be required for a 2nd coat with the 25m² pack.
Should you wish to purchase any of these packs and apply the system to Concrete, TPO, EPDM, Single Ply or Rubber then Eagle Primer PU-1000 must be applied to the surface first at a rate of 150-200ml per m² meaning 1 x 5lt would be enough to cover up to 25m².
Apply Eagle Desmopol Liquid Polyurethane Membrane to the upstands, outlets, penetrations, and any other detail work and whilst wet, reinforce by “dry rolling” the matting into the product until it is fully embedded. Immediately apply more Desmopol ensuring the matting is fully encapsulated, with no dry areas or pinholes.
Either immediately after or after 24 hours of drying, follow the above application guidelines on the whole roof area. Joints on matting must be overlapped by at least 50mm and you must ensure the matting is fully encapsulated with no dry areas or pin holes. A minimum total of 1.5kg – 2kg per m² of Eagle Desmopol Liquid Polyurethane Membrane should be applied to all areas.
Allow to dry for 24 hours.
Both components of Eagle Tecnotop 2C* should be mixed together well using a rod stirrer for approx. 2 minutes, or until the 2 components are completely mixed. Once mixed sufficiently, apply 1 coat of Eagle Tecnotop 2C to the whole area at a coverage rate of 150-200g per m².
*Please note - Eagle Tecnotop 2C Black is supplied in 3 parts, Clear Base (Component A), Black Pigment and an Activator (Component B). The Black Pigment should be added to the Clear Base (Component A) and blended fully using a mixing paddle/whisk at a slow to medium speed. Once a uniform colour, the Activator (Component B) should be added and then mixed again before applying.
Both Eagle Desmopol Liquid Polyurethane Membrane and Eagle Tecnotop 2C can be applied by brush, roller or airless spray equipment. We can recommend our 4” Mini Roller Sleeve Multi Packs and compatible Roller Frames for your application. For larger projects we recommend our 12” Floor Roller Complete and replacement Roller Sleeves but we also offer a Floor Application Kit which contains some of the aforementioned equipment plus some extras such as a brush pack, roller scuttle and mixing paddle.
