Thorough mechanical preparation (eg. power wire brushing, needle gunning, grinding etc) can be utilised for mild environments.
Aluminium surfaces should be roughened. Unweathered galvanised surfaces should be treated with Tor Mordant Solution (IM911).
A moderate degree of surface moisture can be tolerated.
- Overcoating must be carried out within the timescale on the data sheet otherwise it may be necessary to solvent wash or abrade the first coat in order to obtain system adhesion.
- When airless spraying operatives must wear self–contained breathing apparatus (contains isocyanates).
