System Information
Substrate Preparation
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil and dust. Adhesion on substrates may be improved by scuffing the surface with an abrasive hand pad (very fine grade), wiping down with Sika Cleaner 205 and leaving to flash-off.
Adhesion Testing
Test with actual substrates and conditions have to be performed to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.
Substrate and Ambient Temperature
5°C min. / 40°C max.
Coverage Rates
Maximum spread rate of 50ml - 150ml per m² depending on substrate porosity.
Application
Application Method
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil and dust. Adhesion on substrates may be improved by scuffing the surface with an abrasive hand pad (very fine grade), wiping down with Sika Cleaner 205 and leaving to flash-off.
Shake the can of Sika ® Primer-204 N very thoroughly until mixing ball rattles freely. Continue shaking for another minute and apply a thin but covering coat with a brush, felt pad or foam applicator.
Ideal application and surface temperature is between 15°C and 25°C (60°F to 75°F).
Consumption and method of application depend on the specific nature of the substrates and manufacturing process.
Tightly re-seal container immediately after each use.
