Apply Cromar Moss & Mould Remover solution to prevent further fungal/algae growth.
Apply two coats of Cromar Renocoat.
Application
Work should only be carried out in dry conditions, do not apply if rain is forecast within six hours of application and when the relative humidity level exceeds 90%.
Do not apply in frosty conditions or when the substrate temperature is below 5° or above 35°C.
Do not apply when the roof tile temperature is above 35° to ensure that no premature surface drying occurs.

Brian on 2022-05-08 20:09:10 | Question: Do I need a primer first on concrete fibre roof tiles painted them before couple of years ago without primer now peeling off I have now cleaned off all paint no colour on tiles will this be suitable all tiles are sound thanks Brian |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team: Assuming the fibre cement tiles are bare, clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet Cromar Renocoat Roof Tile Renovation Paint can be applied directly without a primer.
Mark Rapson on 2021-08-23 20:05:48 | Question: Hi, your paint for tiles states maximum 35 degrees to prevent drying out too fast. I would like to paint my vertical tile hanging - do you have a product suitable for this? Many thanks |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team: Here in the UK we would be very surprised if we hit 35°C so Cromar Renocoat Roof Tile Renovation Paint would be our recommended product for application on to tiles.
Aimee on 2021-08-16 18:34:13 | Question: What brush would be best to apply this to the tiles? |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team: We would recommend using Contractor Paint Brushes.
jean on 2021-07-29 20:16:40 | Question: I have grey concrete roof tiles which are scuffed on installation. Can this product be used on the scuffed areas to give a more uniform colour, assuming the colour is a close match? |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team: Assuming the concrete tiles are clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet this can be used. But we would recommend coating the whole area rather than small areas to achieve a uniform appearance.
Kevin Dalkin on 2021-07-18 08:49:16 | Question: Hi, I have a cement fibre slate roof that has some surface wear. A lot of the slates are in fairly good condition, will this product be ok to paint on the cement fibre slates that are ok? Best regards Kevin. |
