Description

Jotun Tankguard 412 is a two component solvent free polyamine cured epoxy coating that is a general purpose tank lining with good chemical resistance. It can be used as a primer, mid coat or finish coat in atmospheric and immersed environments. Suitable for properly prepared carbon steel, galvanised steel, stainless steel and concrete substrates.

Areas of Use
Marine: Jotun Tankguard 412 can be used as a coating for potable water, grey water and crude oil tanks.
Protective: Jotun Tankguard 412 is recommended as an internal lining for offshore, onshore and buried tanks and pipes. Refer to Protective Product Resistance List. Recommended for offshore environments, including splash zones, refineries, power plants, bridges, buildings, mining equipment and general structural steel.

Approvals and certificates

  • Tested in acordance to AS/NZS 4020:2005, testing of products for use in contact with drinking water.
  • Approved by the Norwegian Institute of Public Health for use in contact with potable water.
  • Compliant for large tanks with ANSI/NSF standard 61 - 2007a, drinking water systems components.

Additional certificates and approvals may be available on request.

 

BUYER NOTICE: Due to the complexities and risks within tank coatings, Jotun do not support the purchase of their Tankguard range through dealer/distributor channels. Jotun are happy to support with advice and documentation required for these types of coating projects but as they are removed from the end user the ability to control all risks involved with a coating project for a tank is limited. For these reasons, Jotun will only ensure the product quality within the can when Tankguard products are purchased via a distributor such as ourselves.
