PPG NovaGuard 260, a two-component, high build, amine adduct-cured novolac phenolic epoxy tank primer/coating with excellent resistance to alcohols, fats, solvents and various other chemicals. Novaguard 260 also has good abrasion resistance.
PPG NovaGuard 260 is a two-component, high build, amine adduct-cured novolac phenolic epoxy primer/coating. Ideal as a tank coating with excellent resistance to alcohols, fats, solvents and various other chemicals. Produces a smooth and easy to clean surface due to its good application properties. For facilities that store hot water or oil, NovaGuard 260 is a great solution, so long as the water/oil temperature is not more than 90°C (195°F).
This is a solvent-borne paint and care should be taken to avoid inhalation of spray mist or vapor, as well as contact between the wet paint and exposed skin or eyes.
