Would this be a good product for the job. Would I need a base coat on first. Looking at a satin finish please advise many thanks |

Assuming you have a clean, dry, sound surface that has been sanded prior to application, HMG Pre Cat Standard Sealer would be recommended as a basecoat/sealer, prior to finishing with HMG Pre Cat AV Colours. This product is available in 5000+ RAL, BS & NCS Colours to a Satin, Matt or Gloss finish. | |

Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team: We would recommend testing for compatibility and adhesion prior to full application on a small area with the previously sealed mdf. For bare mdf the primer to use would be HMG Pre Cat Primefast 2014-04. | |
