Coo-Var Matt Black gives a quick drying nonreflective finish to wood, metal, ironwork, plaster and many more surfaces. Coo-Var Matt Black is ideal for tudor style beams, photographic work, chalk boards and anywhere a non-reflective surface is required. Not suitable for canvas roller chalk boards. Suitable for interior and exterior use.
Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from grease, oil and any other contaminates. Use Coo-Var Masonry Stabiliser on unstable brick, screed or plaster prior to painting. Existing painted surfaces should be cleaned, degreased and sanded to ensure an adequate "key" is produced. Remove all loose, flaking material and treat bare areas as new substrate then prepare accordingly.
As dictated by normal good painting practice. In confined spaces, provide adequate ventilation during application and drying.

Hi I would like to paint a piece of wooden furniture, but wanted a matt finish. What do you suggest to use as I don’t want something that would chip easily. Many Thanks
Coo-Var Matt Black (Solvent based) is suitable for this application and can be applied directly to sound, dry and abraded wood.
