    Rubio Invisible Protector, plant-based protection that preserves the natural look of wood, giving the original surface a durable protection with an invisible finish.

    Can be applied on almost all wood types and it also preserves the natural look and feel of darker wood types. Rubio Invisible Protector is based on a revolutionary plant-based resin.

    Tips & Tricks

    • To achieve the best results, Rubio Invisible Protector must be applied immediately after sanding.
    • Add 10 % water for the first layer on highly absorbent substrates or at higher temperatures.
    • When the product is poured out, we recommend waiting for 5 minutes to start working. This allows the air bubbles to disappear before applying the product.
    • Make sure to work with a well saturated roller (an unsaturated roller gives an uneven result).
    • We recommend using a new roller after each layer.
    • Always try to work wet in wet to avoid overlaps or drying marks.
    • It is better to work in lanes of 0,5-meter-wide and covering the total width of the room to finish.
    • Make sure the underfloor heating is deactivated, preferably a couple of days before the job.
    • Try to avoid too much ventilation during the application, this to prevent drying too fast.
    • We recommend keeping doors and windows closed.
    • Avoid direct sunlight on the surface.

    Question: 

    Hi there Just wanted to check if the Rubio invisible protector was a floor varnish - in the details section it onky mentions being suitable for walls and ceilings. Also I saw on the Rubio website an additional component for hardening the varnish further - do you stock this? Kind regards David
