Question:

how long is the drying time please?

Answer:

Touch dry in 2 - 4 hours. Recoat after 16 hours and within 3 days. Drying times are based on an ambient temperature of 20°C and 50% relative humidity. Lower temperatures or higher humidity will prolong the drying and overcoating times.

Question: Hi Is this product suitable for marine applications, specifically the hulls of wooden boats? Thanks
Answer:

Blackfriar Aluminium Wood Primer is not suitable for this applicaton but Teamac Aluminium Wood Primer is. Our normal specification for new, bare timber would be;

1 coat of Coo-Var Penetrating Wood Primer, followed by 1 coat of Teamac Aluminium Wood Primer finish with 2 coats of Teamac Marine Gloss.
