Intumescent Pipe Wraps

Wrapping pipes with intumescent material helps in anti-fire projects, defending fire barriers penetrated with services and slowing down the spread of smoke and flames. Intumescent pipe wraps will expand and crush plastic pipes when attacked by fire, filling the space inside to block fire moving through the pipe. The wraps absorb heat from metal pipes, such as copper, steel and aluminium, to prevent damage to fire barriers and substrates.

Rawlins Paints' range of intumescent pipe wraps are available in set sizes or continuous rolls, with optional extra acoustic protection for noisy pipework.
