Line marking isn’t restricted to cycle lane, motorway and main road safety instructions, as it’s often used on pavements and pedestrianised zones, parking spaces to designate specific parking jurisdictions, outdoor grass football and rugby pitches, indoor and outdoor sports and athletics facilities, and major offshore platforms. As continuous research and development ensures new and better materials are used all the time, line marking paint is now available in lots of formulations from leading manufacturers including Blackfriar, Coo-Var and Rust-Oleum.

Road Marking Paint

Coo-Var offers an acrylic road line paint and a low odour road line paint. Coo-Var Acrylic W/B is an acrylic resin that means tools can be simply cleaned with water. Coo-Var Low Odour is solvent based and is great applied directly onto wood floors, tarmac, sealed concrete and non-porous substrates.

Rawlins Paints are road line marking paint suppliers to the UK market - we make buying specialist paints easy, including road-markings and line marking paint for car parks.

Thermoplastic Road Marking

Thermoplastic line marking is one of the most popular kinds of road marking. It gives a great balance between cost and longevity and outperforms paints in terms of increased retro-reflectivity and durability. They also don’t contain VOC solvents, making them more environmentally friendly. In warm climates, the thermoplastic can last around six years, although increased exposure to very cold temperatures can mean it needs replacing more often.

Thermoplastic Lines 603 is an easily applied preformed thermoplastic road marking, perfect for cycleways, carparks and road markings. With a professional finish, it’s very easy to apply with basic equipment and leaves a consistently even coloured finish. It can be driven on within minutes after it has been applied and is one of the most durable systems available.

Prismo road markings include Ennis-Flint Prismo Flexiline, billed as the ‘perfect solution’ to line marking roads, airports and playgrounds, among other environments. Using hot applied thermoplastic, Prismo Flexiline results in exceptionally crisp, clearly edged markings and is available in preformed lines, numbers and symbols. Application needs only one person with a gas torch and it can be walked and driven on very quickly after it has been applied.

Thermoplastic Tack Primer 605 is a primer used for bonding thermoplastic materials to concrete. It’s a clear primer and can be applied by brush, spray or roller and will be dry within 15 minutes.

Grass Line Marking Paint

Spray paints, like Blackfriar Line Marking Spray is used as white line marking paint on roads, in factories, building sites and more, but it’s particularly good for sports fields and courts. Super easy to apply, the spray-on line paint needs just one coat and is dry within half an hour. Also available in yellow, green, black, red and blue, there’s a colour for every possible use.

Book a Site Visit for Large Floor Renovation and Refurbishment Projects

Painting floors with high-quality commercial or industrial coatings is much more cost effective and less disruptive to a project than using cheaper substitutes. Larger projects require some form of ‘guarantee’ for the client and/or building owner to provide peace of mind that the coating system applied to internal or external flooring will last for an agreed period of time - if correctly maintained.

Using our products, it is possible to decorate and protect concrete, tarmac, asphalt, wood or metal floors, both improving its life expectancy for greater periods of times, and delivering waterproofing and protective properties that can lower the risk of major repair and costly maintenance work. Achieve long-lasting results, with the wide range of floor paints and coatings available at Rawlins Paints today.

We offer systems that are available in virtually any colour and finish - including colour matching existing decorative or company colour schemes - in our light to medium (pedestrianised) right up to heavy use (light to medium vehicular activity) coatings for a wide range of interior or exterior substrates and surface materials.

A trained member of our Technical Support Team will visit your site and carry out a full inspection, write a tailored specification to meet your requirements and offer an approved contractor for the application. We will never offer a contractor that we have not trained and approved, all our contractors have successfully completed specific product training on the systems they apply and are monitored regularly to ensure the highest standard of quality is achieved.

By using one of our nationwide approved contractors for our products you enable yourself to take advantage of our guarantees, life expectancies and warranties. This means if we say our system is going to last a certain amount of time, or perform in a certain way and it doesn’t, you’re covered.

If you’re a contractor and would like to become an approved installer of our systems please contact us on 0113 245 5450
