Waterproof pitched roof paint systems can now offer up to 15 years' protection for asbestos, bituminous surfaces, metal and more. Rawlins Paints stock and distribute many of the UK's leading and most long-lasting single pack, easy to apply paints that dry quickly and can extend the life of a pitched roof without the need to replace any building materials. Our most popular requirements for pitched roofs include outbuilding cement fibre or asbestos corrugated roofs and commercial metal clad corrugated roofs, in all instances we have a suitable roof paint and all that remains to decide is how you would like to apply it (brush, roller or spray) and how long you would like it to last as a minimum expectation.

Throughout the four seasons, all roofing goes through a wide range of environmental challenges, which can cause a number of detrimental issues - including cut edge corrosion. Whilst pitched roofs are not susceptible to pooling water like flat roofs are, they can still undergo severely damaging effects of damp, UV exposure, harsh cleaning chemicals, and capillary action of moisture that pierces through peeling, flaking or cracked coatings.
Areas that are most at risk include fixing and joints around guttering, skylights, roof-lights, chimneys, adjoining cladding sheets, and damaged or incorrectly positioned roof tiles. Pitched roof paints, coatings and repair products are not intended to patch-up problem areas, but maintain, treat and remove the risk of any rust or further roof coating, materials or substrate deterioration. Our roof coating systems are designed to waterproof, protect and decorate almost all types of roofing materials. Roof coatings are often the most cost effective way to renovate a roof by allowing the user to extend the life expectancy without the need of a specialist contractor.

Cold applied, seamless systems mean no need for heat or naked flames providing tough, elastomeric, waterproofing coatings that withstand thermal/structural movement.
We will visit your site and carry out a full inspection, write a tailored specification to meet your requirements and offer an approved contractor for the application. We will never offer a contractor that we have not trained and approved, all our contractors have successfully completed specific product training on the systems they apply and are monitored regularly to ensure the highest standard of quality is achieved.
