Jotun Hardtop CA is a two component cross linked acrylic coating that does not contain isocyanates. It has a gloss finish with good gloss retention and is a high solids product. The product has good application properties with low dry spray which makes it ideal to be used as topcoat in atmospheric environments.
Jotun Hardtop CA is recommended for topside, deck and superstructure areas in the marine industry and recommended for offshore environments, refineries, power plants, bridges and buildings as well as a wide range of industrial structures in the industrial/protective sectors.
Jotun Hardtop CA is used as a topcoat over an epoxy primer where a durable, high gloss finish is required in aggressive atmospheric exposure.

Chemical resistance
Hardtop CA offers an isocyanate free good chemical resistance for structures exposed to heavy detergents and spill of chemicals.
No isocyanates
The fact that this product does not contain any isocyanates makes it a preferred solution for HSE conscious customers.

Hardtop CA is pre-qualified in several NORSOK coating sytems no. 1.

Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team: This product is normally used over a compatible primer on the topside, deck and superstructures on vessels not on RIB sponsons. For this application assuming they are clean,dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet we can recommend Technispray Hypakolor, this is available in many RAL and BS colours. | |
