Where It Can Be Used

This resin system is perfect for installation on concrete or screed substrates in a variety of settings, including manufacturing plants, laboratories, and storage facilities. It provides a smooth, continuous surface that is resistant to mechanical wear and chemical spills. It should not be applied to substrates that are exposed to rising damp or groundwater pressure unless a two-coat Hydraseal DPM is used. Additionally, the product is not suitable for DIY use and should only be applied by trained professionals.

Key Certifications and Performance

Peran SL LE is certified under EN 13501-1 with a fire classification of Bfl-s1, meaning it has low smoke production and contributes to fire safety. Its wear resistance is classified under EN 13892-4 AR0.5, ensuring it can withstand heavy foot traffic without significant deterioration. For environmental compliance, this resin system meets the Indoor Air Comfort GOLD standards for low VOC emissions, making it suitable for use in sensitive indoor environments such as hospitals and laboratories.

Installation and Application

Proper substrate preparation is crucial for successful application. Concrete or screed substrates should be clean, dry, and free from contaminants. For surfaces with a relative humidity exceeding 75%, the use of Hydraseal DPM is necessary. The application should only be performed by licensed contractors, and detailed installation guidelines are available upon request. Avoid application in conditions exceeding 40°C or in direct sunlight, as this may affect the product's performance.

Recommended Products

For enhanced protection and longevity, Peran SL LE can be used in conjunction with Flowseal PU Matt or Flowseal PU Anti-Stain as a topcoat. These sealers further improve the chemical and UV resistance of the flooring system, making it more suitable for a wide range of environments.

Health and Safety

Peran SL LE Part A is classified as hazardous under EU regulations and contains substances that may cause skin irritation and allergic reactions. Peran SL LE Part B is also hazardous and requires proper personal protective equipment during handling. This product contains no diisocyanates.
