Flowcrete Flowfresh MF
Flowfresh MF is a high-performance flooring solution designed to withstand heavy use in demanding environments. Its polyurethane-based formulation, combined with Polygiene antimicrobial technology, ensures superior durability, chemical resistance, and hygiene. This system is applied at a minimum thickness of 4mm and is ideal for facilities requiring robust protection from mechanical, chemical, and thermal stresses.
Applications and Benefits
- Heavy-duty environments including production facilities, food and beverage processing plants, and industrial kitchens.
- High resistance to acids, alkalis, and chemical spills, making it perfect for areas prone to harsh substances.
- Polygiene antimicrobial protection enhances hygiene, reducing risks of contamination in sensitive environments.
- Very low VOC emissions ensure a safer and healthier indoor environment.
- CE-certified and compliant with Indoor Air Comfort Gold requirements, meeting international air quality and sustainability standards.
Limitations and Recommendations
Do not apply Flowfresh MF at ambient or substrate temperatures below 12°C or above 25°C, as this can negatively impact performance. Avoid using it on substrates that have not been properly prepared or lack a waterproofing membrane beneath them. It is crucial to follow the recommended mixing and application guidelines for optimal results. For areas requiring additional waterproofing or aesthetic finishes, consider complementary products such as Flowfresh Primer or Scratchcoat.
Surface Preparation and Application
Ensure the substrate is properly prepared through mechanical treatment, such as shot-blasting or scabbling, to create an open surface. For best results, apply Flowfresh Primer or Scratchcoat before the main layer. The mixture should be applied evenly and spike-rolled to achieve a smooth, defect-free finish. Follow the detailed application manual available through authorised applicators.
Health and Safety
Always use appropriate personal protective equipment and ensure adequate ventilation during application. Refer to the downloadable safety data sheet for comprehensive details.
