Megagloss AC is specifically formulated for exterior areas such as hulls, superstructures, and above-waterline zones. When applied correctly, it ensures a long-lasting, high-performance finish.
Certifications and Standards
Megagloss AC is certified for low flame spread under the IMO FTP Code, making it suitable for marine environments (light colours only). It complies with EU VOC regulations, demonstrating its environmental credentials without compromising performance.
Surface Preparation and Application
Proper surface preparation is essential for optimal results. Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from contaminants. Recommended application methods include spraying (gravity, pressure pot, or electrostatic), brushing, and rolling. The product should be applied in multiple coats to achieve the specified dry film thickness.
Restrictions and Limitations
Do not apply on wet or unprepared surfaces. Avoid use in confined areas without adequate ventilation. This product is unsuitable for underwater immersion. Always refer to the Technical Data Sheet (TDS) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for detailed instructions and precautions.
