Application Instructions
- Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dirt, grease, and oil. Sand intact coatings to roughen the surface slightly.
- Application Conditions: Apply when the relative humidity is below 85% and the temperature of the can and substrate is above 0°C.
- Application: Shake the aerosol can vigorously for at least one minute after the mixing ball is heard. Spray from a distance of approximately 25 cm, using a back-and-forth motion. Apply several thin layers, allowing a few minutes between each coat.
- Post-Application: Turn the can upside down and press the spray button for 2-3 seconds to clear the valve.
Restrictions and Limitations
- Avoid using on surfaces that are not metals like wood or plastic, as the product is specifically formulated for metal surfaces.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C.
- Use in well-ventilated areas. Avoid inhalation of vapours and contact with skin and eyes. Refer to the safety data sheet for detailed safety instructions.

However, if any chemicals attack the surface, it would be difficult to advise how this coating would react long-term. | |

This product is designed for use over Rust-Oleum Hard Hat Fluorescent Topcoats, Rust-Oleum Hard Hat 2111 Sparkling Aluminium , Rust-Oleum 2115 Hard Hat Aluminium, and Rust-Oleum Hard Hat 2116 Stainless Steel Coating to increase durability, exterior Performance, gloss level and cleanability. It can also be applied to restore the gloss level and life expectancy of previously faded old coatings, as well as directly applied to many surfaces including aluminium, brass, bronze, chrome and copper. | |
