Coo-Var Prime-All

Applications

This versatile primer can be applied to a variety of surfaces including tiles, wood, metal (including galvanised), plaster, existing paint, masonry, and most plastics. It serves as an excellent preparatory layer before the application of a topcoat, ensuring that stains do not bleed through and that the final coat adheres properly.

Application Guidelines

For the best results, ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, and dirt. Remove any loose or flaking material using a wire brush or sandpaper. Apply using a brush or roller, and allow the primer to dry for at least 4 to 6 hours before applying a topcoat. Full hardness is achieved within 3 to 5 days.

Restrictions and Limitations

This product should not be thinned or mixed with other products. Avoid application in high humidity or low temperature conditions as this can affect drying times and final performance. Do not apply to surfaces that are constantly damp or exposed to heavy condensation.
