Application Instructions
Before application, ensure that the surface is clean, dry, and free from loose materials. Moss and other debris should be removed by scraping or jet washing. Questions
Question about the product
![]() | Question:
Hi can I paint red tarmac with black paint what would you recommend |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
This product could be applied over the existing red coloured tarmac, however may struggle to cover the colour fully and could require more than 2 coats to achieve this. As an alternative, assuming the substrate is clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical datasheet, Rust-Oleum Tarmacoat could be an alternative option. This product provides a higher film build and give a better option to hide any red colour. | |
