This product has a relatively high VOC value, being solvent-based this will mean there will be odours throughout application, and until fully cured. We would recommend ensuring there is adequate ventilation to help dissipate this when applying this product. Assuming the surface is clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical datasheet, you could consider Bradite Roadline Paint RL52 as a Water-Based alternative option, this line marking paint is ideal for use on various surfaces such as roads, car parks, and sports facilities. Application can be either by brush, roller or spray, and when applied correctly allows for light traffic after 16 hours and full curing after 7 days, subject to environmental conditions.

If so how long is this, and if not could you give me an estimation of durability in years based on previous projects that the product has been used for? That is a difficult one to answer, and will depend entirely on actual usage/exposure but given this is an aerosol product, with presumed higher levels of abrasion, I would anticipate an annual refurbishment. If you wish to use something longer lasting we would recommend using instead something like Rust-Oleum Tarmacoat .
