Application and Usage

• Suitable for manually prepared rusted steel surfaces.

• Can be applied using brush, roller, or spray method.s
• Recommended for environments with high humidity and frequent chemical exposure.
• Easy to apply with a user-friendly mix ratio of 1:1 by volume.

To achieve optimal results, ensure the substrate is clean and dry during application. The product is designed to penetrate through rust and adhere to sound metal, making it an excellent choice for maintenance and restoration projects.

Directions for Use

Before application, stir the individual components thoroughly and mix them together. The primer can be thinned up to 10% with Rust-Oleum Thinner 160 for brush and roller applications, or up to 20% for air-atomised spray applications. Ensure the ambient temperature is between 5°C and 35°C, with relative humidity below 85%.

• Brush: Use natural bristles, long hair brushes.
• Roller: Use short/medium nap polyamide rollers (8-12 mm).
• Spray: Use pneumatic and electric airless equipment with a tip size of 0.013-0.018 inch and fluid pressure of 125-200 bar.

Safety and Limitations

This product is flammable and should be kept away from heat, sparks, and open flames. It causes skin irritation and serious eye damage, and may cause respiratory irritation and dizziness. Always use appropriate personal protective equipment such as gloves and eye protection. Do not use this product in poorly ventilated areas and avoid inhaling vapours.
