Mathys Fassilux Aqua XPE Gloss is a water based, scratch resistant finish on properly prepared wooden or other already painted mineral substrates for interior or exterior use.

Mathys Fassilux Aqua XPE Gloss is a high gloss PU/Alkyd topcoat for indoor and outdoor works. It can be applied on wood and all other well prepared substrates and is especially suited for obtaining a smooth finish.

Practical coverage depends on many factors such as porosity and roughness of the substrate and material losses during applcation.
Surface Preparation
New work : Substrates need to be clean, dry and free from fats and oils. The substrates need to be coated with the appropriate primer for the type of substrate.
Existing work : Clean, degrease and sand. Remove any loose, flaking or cracked old coating layers. Treat bare spots as new work
