Surface Preparation
All surfaces to be coated should be dry and cleaned as necessary to remove all oil, grease, salts, weld flux or other contamination. Where necessary, remove weld spatter and grind smooth all sharp edges and weld seams
Masonry: seal unsound or uncoated substrates with Stormcote Stabilising Sealer. Apply two full coats of Plicote HB Finish
Plastisol cladding: Prepare any bare metal areas to St2 standard minimum and spot prime with Speedspray QDH Primer, before applying Plicote HB Finish
HP200 (leather-grain type): if fresh, solvent wash with White Spirit to remove surface deposits. If weathered – no solvent washing required
HPS200 (dimpled type): not recommended, use instead ViterClad 50
