It is scratch and abrasion resistant and is suitable for environments with very high corrosivity. It can be used as a primer, mid coat, finish coat or as a single coat system in atmospheric and immersed environments.

Jotun Marathon is especially suited in areas where high scratch resistance is required. Ideal for structural steel and piping to be exposed to corrosive environments up to very high and immersed. Recommended for offshore environments, refineries, power plants, bridges, buildings, mining equipment and general structural steel. Also compatible with cathodic protection systems.

- APAS approved to specification 0213
- Part of a complete system that is certified to Network Rail Line Specification NR/L3/CIV/039 System M21 and N2 (Cert. No's. XM92/M21-167, XN90/N2-089) Item 7.2.3.
