Key features & benefits
Preparation
First ensure the surface to be painted is clean, thoroughly dry, and free from powdery deposits. If you are marking new concrete, make sure its has had at least 6 months to dry out before coating.
Application
Before use, stir the paint well with a broad stirrer. Apply by brush, roller or line marking machine. If applying by brush, apply a generous, even coat with the minimum of brushing. For best results, apply 2 coats. Do not apply this paint in damp, wet, or excessively hot conditions.
Please note that Blackfriar Professional Line Marking Paint is not suitable for use as a floor paint, only for marking lines.
Drying Time
30 minutes in good conditions.
Coverage
Approximately 6m²/litre per coat depending on the porosity of the surface.
Clean Up
Remove as much product from application equipment as possible before washing. Do not empty into drains or watercourses. Some local authorities have special facilities for the disposal of waste coatings.

Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team: This paint is not designed as a temporary solution, removal from a substrate will only be possible by mechanical means. For a more temporary option we can recommend Rust-Oleum Line Marking Paint. These will wear off over time but still not classsed as removable. | |

Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team: This paint can be used on painted surfaces, tarmac and concrete but not metal. Assuming the metal is steel, it is not a floor or area that is walked on, clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet we can recommend Rust-Oleum 3369/3380 CombiPrimer Anti-Corrosion followed by Rust-Oleum CombiColor Original. | |

Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team: Both Blackfriar Professional Line Marking Paint and Blackfriar Line Marking Spray, will be OK for this application. They will bond to an acrylic varnish and give a good level of durability. | |

Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team: The product data sheet states 'Dry in 30 minutes under normal conditions (20°C 50% R/H)', to give an accurate answer we'd need to know the estimated temperature and Relative Humidity for your application but assuming it is going to be cooler than 20°C and higher than 50% R/H it could be considerably longer. | |
