Anti-slip tapes are great as they are quick and easy to apply. As they’re self-adhesive, you generally only need to clean and prepare the surface before application, making them easy to install and extremely cost effective.
We have self-adhesive anti-slip tape specifically for wet areas, used for leisure centres, swimming pools and gyms. Easily snipped to the appropriate lengths, they stick on to pretty much any surface and are ideal for light to medium use areas. If you need to use them on very wet or areas that have frequent wear, we recommend that you use our Primer/Sealer and Edge Sealer to make sure of the quality of the finish.
Anti-slip tape is also available for dry or mostly dry areas, and comes in a wider range of colours. Equally easy to apply, it’s a very economically sound way of making sure edges are marked and easy to see, for example on steps, ramps, floors, boats or anywhere else that people need to be aware of.
We stock a range of anti-slip step and anti-slip stair tread and landing covers, available in either self-adhesive, screw down aluminium or GRP. We stock a range of sizes, grades and colours depending on what you need. These range from non-abrasive self-adhesive treads for stairwells or maximum grip for areas that are very slippery.
The GRP anti slip stair treads and GRP landing covers are made of fibreglass (Glass Reinforced Plastic) and are extremely durable thanks to the chemically bonded grit that covers them. They’re used a lot particularly in the construction and rail industries and are available in a range of colours, including the yellow and white nosing that meets building regulations.
Ideal for exterior and interior stairs in stations, offices, schools, municipal buildings and other public areas, our Anti Slip Tread Covers are ideal to spruce up steps to make them safe, without spending a fortune. Perfect for worn and slippery steps, they offer amazing slip resistance even in oily, icy and wet conditions. These treads are preformed, super-fast to install and available in black with yellow or white nosing. You just need to prepare the surface and glue or screw into place. They can be walked on immediately meaning you don’t need to disrupt an area for long while making them safe. They have a tread of 345mm and a 55mm nosing and are available in various lengths.
Our Anti Slip Landing Covers are the bigger versions of our Anti Slip Stair Tread Covers, with all the same properties, for the larger landing areas on a staircase. The gritted surface provides long term anti slip resistance and helps conform with DDA legislation.
We have various standard lengths of Anti Slip Landing Covers available, all with 1220mm depth of tread and 55mm nosing. Made from 4mm thick GRP, the covers can also be cut to fit if you need a specific size that we don’t offer as standard.
We have a range of very hard wearing stair edge nosings that add an anti-slip surface to the edge of staircases. Ideal for concrete stairs in public areas, schools, hospitals or anywhere a high volume of people will be using them. As well as standard finishes, we also stock anti slip luminous stair nosings for that added visibility.
Our anti-slip floor paints range from quick drying single pack paints right through to high build, solvent-free epoxy coatings. All give excellent finishes, with different grades of toughness and durability depending on your needs.
Non-slip floor paints are ready-mixed aggregate floor coatings which give rough anti-slip finishes to floors that need that extra grip. Ideal for floors in factories, for wheelchair ramps and boat decks, among many other uses.

We also stock products specifically developed for boats and other sea faring vessels. As there is a need for a rough anti-slip finish on deck to keep crew-members safe when the vessel is in motion or in high seas, deck paints are tough aggregated coatings. Teamac Suregrip Deck Paint is available in a range of aggregate finishes and can be used as a safety coating on wood, metal, GRP and concrete. It can hold up to light traffic use and heavy footfall.
Slippery timber decking can be dangerous underfoot but we have plenty of non-slip solutions for residential and commercial uses. Easy to install and weather resistant, our range of anti-slip decking will create a safe, slip resistant environment.
We stock anti slip decking strips, which are a quick and easy solution used with standard timber decking. Rust-Oleum SuperGrip decking strips are made from fibreglass with a gritted surface and can be easily screwed down onto the timber. There is also a Rust-Oleum interior decking option, which have a finer surface making them easier to clean and ideal for schools, hospitals and any areas that need to be non-slip but don’t need to be as coarse as the exterior option.
