Suface Preparation
The substrate must be sufficiently dry and stable; clean thoroughly. In case of fungal growth: treat first with an adequate moss-preventing product. On porous substrates apply first a coat of Mathys Parafix or Mathys Pegafix. On very smooth bricks, apply a first coat of Rust-Oleum Mathys Noxyde diluted with 25% water, or a coat of Rust-Oleum Mathys Pegalink Universal Adhesion Primer. Impregnate old chalking paints, after cleaning, with a coat of Mathys Fixonal or Mathys Pegafix. Fill up holes and seal joints or fissures with Rust-Oleum Mathys Elastofill. If necessary, fill with Mathys Pegaflex. Flat down and remove dust. Hereafter, apply 1 - 2 coats of Rust-Oleum Mathys Paracem Satin Matt.
